The Mars Global Surveyor is hot on the tail of Pathfinder and has recently sent back some pictures of the planet as it approaches. Here's one of the famous Smiley Face on Mars
In Gerry Anderson's 1969 TV series "UFO", Lieutenant Ellis (played by Gabrielle Drake), in her fetching purple wig, used to run SHADO's Moonbase. A while ago, I noticed this new sign on a piece of dual-carriageway just off the A10 in Hertford (UK).
I don't know if it's named after this Lieutenant Ellis, but you never know. If anyone has any more information, please get in touch.
